For the past 10 years, Laguna Middle School, and instructor John Herrera, have taught students to create a traditional drum; from gathering the wood to learning songs and playing the instrument they have made.

Recent News

On Wednesday, May 10, 2017, the Laguna Police Department joined together with the Laguna Mid­dle School to celebrate the Eighth Grade Comple­tion Ceremony. The Laguna Police Department annually recogniz­es the two top students with the highest accumu­lative grade point average from their three years in the middle school. This year's award winners are Salena Riley and Jaynelle Tenequer. Both students were rewarded with brand new bicycles for their outstanding work.
